HOW TO PURCHASE TICKETS AND PLAY

How to Purchase a Ticket

To acquire a ticket, locate an Arizona Lottery retailer. Powerball tickets are priced at $2 per game and can be obtained from Arizona Lottery Retailers’ counters or vending machines. Unfortunately, tickets cannot be bought online.

How to Choose Your Numbers

You have three options for selecting your numbers:

  1. Opt for a Quick Pick using the vending machine or request it from the cashier during purchase for the computer to select your numbers randomly.
  2. Choose your own numbers by filling out a selection slip or informing the cashier of your preferred six numbers:
  • 5 white numbers (1 – 69)
  • 1 Powerball number (1 – 26)
  1. Mix and match by choosing your own numbers for either the white numbers or the red Powerball number, and letting Quick Pick handle the rest.

Multiply Your Winnings

During ticket purchase, you can include Power Play for an extra $1 per game to potentially multiply your winnings by 2, 3, 4, 5, or 10 times. Indicate your preference to the cashier or mark it on your selection slip. Just before the Powerball drawing, a Power Play number will be drawn, and your winnings will be multiplied accordingly.
