Mega Millions is an exciting draw game offering players the chance to match their chosen numbers with the winning numbers drawn, thereby winning various cash prizes. There are a total of nine different ways to win in Mega Millions.

WHAT IS MEGAPLIER?
Megaplier is an optional feature that can significantly enhance your winnings by multiplying them by 2, 3, 4, or 5 times. By marking the Megaplier box on your ticket or requesting the Megaplier option from the cashier, you can participate in this multiplier feature. The Megaplier number is randomly selected just before each drawing.

How to Purchase a Ticket:
To buy a Mega Millions ticket, locate an Arizona Lottery retailer. Tickets are priced at $2 per game and can be purchased either at the counter of Arizona Lottery retailers or through Arizona Lottery vending machines. It’s important to note that tickets cannot be bought online.
How to Choose Your Numbers:
Players have three options for selecting their numbers:
- Quick Pick: Allow the computer to randomly select numbers for you by choosing a Quick Pick option at the vending machine or informing the cashier.
- Manual Selection: Fill out a selection slip with your chosen numbers or inform the cashier of your preferred six numbers:
- Five white numbers (1 – 70)
- One Mega Ball number (1 – 25)
- Partial Selection: Alternatively, you can select your own numbers for either the white numbers or the Mega Ball number and opt for Quick Pick for the remaining number(s).
How to Check the Winning Numbers:
Winning numbers can be found online or verified using a ticket scanner at an Arizona Lottery retailer. Alternatively, you can call the Winning Numbers Hotline at:

How to Claim Your Winnings:
- For prizes ranging from $1 to $599, all Arizona Lottery retailers can redeem prizes up to $100, and some may redeem prizes up to $599.
- For prizes of $600 or more, winners must complete a Winner’s Claim Form and either mail it or bring it to the Phoenix or Tucson Arizona Lottery office.
Jackpot Payment Options:
Winners of the jackpot have 60 days to choose between a 30-year annuity or a lump-sum cash payment, which will be approximately half of the announced jackpot. If no option is selected within 60 days, the prize will be paid out as an annuity.

The overall odds of winning a cash prize are approximately 1 in 24.
Drawings are conducted every Tuesday and Friday evenings.
“Results Pending” indicates that the Arizona Lottery is awaiting information from the Multi-State Lottery Association regarding potential changes to the jackpot amount or any jackpot winners. Once this information is received, the next estimated jackpot amount will be updated.
You can play your chosen numbers for up to 10 consecutive drawing dates on a single ticket. Just inform the cashier at the time of purchase or mark the Multi Draw box on your selection slip.
For draw game tickets, prizes must be claimed within 180 days from the draw date. Expired tickets, even if they are winners, cannot be redeemed.
In the event of multiple jackpot winners, the prize will be shared equally among the winning players.
